It’s a Friday. My Freeday. And since today is boring* and yesterday’s not, I’ll go back in time and focus on that.

My first class was FA 28**. I was late. Again. To be fair, I didn’t tell him to. I just assumed he would. Oh, the stupidity of assuming. And, while sudoku-ing, I just realized that I forgot to sign the attendance. For the second time. Hmph. That means, what? 4 cuts nalang ang pwede sakin. Haha. But that’s okay. I have no plans on cutting FA anyway, since it is my FAVORITE subject, so far. Kakatawa kasi sobra si Prof. Dakila Fernando. Andaming jokes, as in every minute matatawa ka. Tapos pag tawa ng tawa yung class sasabihin niya “Bawal ang masaya sa klase ko!” which cracks me up even more. Haha. Basta sobrang nakakatawa pag nakita mo. Marami akong natututunan sa kanya, hindi lang tungkol sa art (art is man-made! It has a plurality/horizon [favorite words niya] of meaning and interpreted based on a person’s psychophysical [favorite rin niya] experience.), at semiotics (a vertical line is not just a vertical line… it can symbolize power, strength, etc.) kundi pati na rin sa psychology (iisang floor lang usually ang mga preschool dahil ang bata maiintimidate pag malaki yung building, at pag one-floor lang parang bahay lang so they feel secure; at ang mga piazza tulad nung mga nasa Europe ay usually pabilog, like an embrace because it makes people feel safe and secure) at iba’t–ibang kalokohan tulad ng mga acronyms na to:

YAMAHA
You Are My Angel…Happy Anniversary!

BALIWAG
Beauty and Love I Will Always Give.

HOLLAND
Hope Our Love Lingers And Never Die.

At ang pinaka malupet sa lahat:

PHILIPPINES
Pumping Hot I Love It Please Please I Need Erotic Sex!

Hehe.

Hehe.

So after my FA class I proceeded to Philo1, a subject which, I hate to say, I kinda dread. I don’t know. There’s something about my prof which I find a little disturbing. While I sat at the third row, looking at her, it hit me.

She looks like Professor Umbridge.

Probably not the Professor Umbridge in the next HP movie, but the Professor Umbridge that I pictured in my mind. And to see that imaginary face brought to reality, discussing Socrates and philosophical ideas, was uncomfortable. She even had that smile – a wide one, which is quite unsettling. Haha, ang sama ko. My imagination was in overdrive again. But hey, I won’t let this thing get in the way of me learning some philo. Sana lang si ex-Professor Lupin yung nagmaterialize. Hehe.

Next class was Geog1, which most of us boycotted (or boycut? cut?). Grabe first time ko nakaranas ng ganito. Dumaan sa classroom yung mga nagrarally: students mostly in red, chanting VERY VERY LOUDLY.  I doubt that given all that chanting we would still have class; we would probably not have heard each other (sa may engg bldg nga rinig yung rally eh, nung naggather sa harap ng AS.) I don’t know if Ma’am even appeared, or if there were some who stayed. Regarding the TFI: 1000/unit is heavy on the pocket, but if the STFAP is effectively implemented, meaning those who cannot pay won’t, plus stipends for those in need, as is said in today’s newspaper, then sure, why not? It will help in UP being more globally competetive as opposed to its degradation. But why does the military get so much more?

Hehe. Laughtrip guaranteed. So ansaya diba? So ayun, naglighten yung spirits ko. It’s amazing, really, that a simple hello from a familiar face can flush away the crappiness of the day (rhyme pa!). So masaya na ako. So ayun, all’s well that ends well.

Well, I hope this makes up for the loooooong hiatus. Good night!

*woke up at 9, read Lucky by Alice Sebold, ate my daily dose of Oreo O’s cereal [loved the marshmallows!], surfed the net, played billiards with Tatay and got CREAMED [5-2], slept, ate, watched Veronica Mars and some gymnastics competition [I liked the ones with the long red ribbons –whatchacallit?-  most. It’s like scribbling with air as the canvas.], ate, played the keyboards [forgot parts of minuet], ate, did very easy sudoku puzzles, and here I am.
