Entries for April, 2009

3 hours. I waited an effing three hours for a chance get you, oh elusive PE slot. There are just some things that would not be yours even if you exert the utmost patience and desire in waiting for it. If it's not for you, let it go and find another. The question is, will there be another? Only the next day knows.

People always come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually.

They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they just walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.
.
When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.

Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall, the season eventually ends.
.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life.

*from peyups.

hmm. i can certainly name people who have come to my life for a reason and a season.. but more importantly, i know who i want to stay in my life for a lifetime.

please don't let him be just a reason and a season? HAHA.

nung thursday nag smnorth-trinoma bonding kami ni setispace at pinyong. spent about 130php for lunch, bilang nag meal for four kami sa pizza hut. ohsosatisfying!! syet ang sarap. haha. tapos nagpastudiopic kami. spent about 60php? haha. tapos bumili ako ng dress worth, tantananantanan! 600php. hahaha. bihira ako bumili ng ganito, as in BIHIRA. pero angkyut ng dress ha, pang summer na summer. although maulan na lately shet. :| haha. tapos kahapon!! i spent about a whopping 700. I bought 3dvds: cinema paradiso, last tango in paris, and la double vie de veronique (because i have to practice listening to french, haha) worth 120php ea :( ohwell sulit naman sana. hehe. tas hindi pa ako nakontento, bumili pa ako ng 100php na libro, love story by erich segal, na ang kyut, hindi kumplikado, tama lang ang timpla, walang kung-anu-anong unnecessary chechebureche, lovestory kung lovestory, at kinilig naman ako at napatawa at muntik nang umiyak. haha kaya sulit naman. sabi ko sa sarili ko 500 lang ang gagastusin ko for that day, but no! ginutom ako nambonggz on the way home at hindi ko na kinaya ang temptasyon na kumain sa katips (antagal pa kasi kung maglalakad ako pauwi) kaya ayun, napadpad ako sa greenwich at napa-order ng baked rice melt chicken a la king. hahaha e ansarap! tas nabitin ako, at bilang napasarap ang pagbabasa ko nung lovestory sa greenwich, napaorder tuloy ako ng brownie magic.. na syet ang konti lang pala, pero masarap pa rin. haha ang gastos ko. tapos ayun, umuwi na ako, pero bumalik ulit ako sa astro para tumambay, at para makilala ang buddy ko na hindi nagrereply, pero hindi rin naman siya tumambay :| haha pero ayus lang. may telescope lec, at PI, at ayun. kumain kami sa bubu afterwards, pero sa kai-fan yung order ko, haha. char koay teow FTW! haha ewan ko ba kung tama yung spelling. anyway. it's been a fun week, kahit na namimiss ko na siya NAMBONGGA :| :| :| haha. shet gusto ko ng cuddle :| HAHA hormones again. anyway. ayan, mapanood na nga ang mga binili kong dvds! hehe. baboo.

"If your foot slips, you can always recover your balance.. but when your tongue slips, you can never recover your words."

"Humor is a sweet condiment in the feast of existence. Laugh at our mistakes but learn from them; joke over our troubles but gather strength from them; make fun of our difficulties but overcome them. Life may be tough and even difficult but the value we gain from trials make it all worth our journey."

"Make sure you make someone happy before the day ends.. even if that someone is yourself."

"Even if you do things the right way, someone would still be unsatisfied. Some will not appreciate what you say and what you do, and there would always be people who would let you down too.. but for as long as you speak honestly from the heart, you'll be fine. This is not a perfect world. This is not a perfect life. Life is almost always unfair.. but life loves the person who dares to live it."

"Moving on is not about never looking back.. it's about taking a glance at yesterday and noticing how much you've grown since then."
