Watched Rurouni Kenshin. Super bitin! *spoiler alert* Aagh is that Seijuuro Hiko carrying Kenshin?? But without the large ass cape?? Tell me it's Hiko?? Because I miss him. However, the thing I miss the most is the anime soundtrack. That was love.
SM's sound system seems so echo-ey. Hmphph sm why can't you do anything right???
Kenshin's portrayal is still very much Kenshin. Love it. Fight scenes still awesome!
Misao in the flesh = kinda annoying. but wheeeeee, seeing her in the flesh. I love Misao. I actually made a fansite for her, at the end of my gradeschool days. Here's a fan art :)))
Aoshi = another wheeee~ but but but I don't think his storyline was integrated well at all. Parang distraction lang ang kanyang appearance and fight with Jiya. Nagkakagulo na sa labas at siya personal vendetta parin ang inaatupag. Aoshi is my ultimate childhood bishounen crush wahahaha. So I have a soft spot for him. Well I understand mahirap icompress ang kyoto arc - 35 eps, 17.5 hours into a measly 5 hour movie but cmoooonnn parang ang gulo lang. haha. better siguro kung sa first movie siya inintroduce.
Also: JIYA!!!!! He's my fave appearance. I love it. Jiyang-jiya.
And omg nakakahiya, ngayon ko lang talaga nalaman ang meaning ng reversed-edge. :)))) And I've been a fan of Rurouni Kenshin for around 13 years ha! Kala ko ang tinutukoy ng 'reversed edge' sword, ay yung tip ay may certain curve at hindi patriangle point. Always found it weird na nakakahinder ng death ang ganung design ng sword. hahahahah now i know na it is what it is: yung taas na edge yung sharp. reversed-edge nga eh. duh. makes more sense now :)))) what is bobo.
Also ngayon ko lang nalaman ulit backstory ni Shishio. Haha. Nalimutan ko na before :))
More storyline ekek: Well I was kinda waiting for the baby to be hung in a pole or something but on top of the stairs is safer so that's... good. :)) Mej di madama lang talaga yung pag-alis ni kensin sa kamiya kasshin dojo coz ambilis lang nila nakahabol sa kyoto hahaha. but yeah syemps storyline has to be changed. For reference, Tokyo to Kyoto is 458.9km(thank you google!!!) so parang pumunta ka ng Manila to Albay. On foot. ganyan katagal ang travel nila gais. Also parantanga yung pag-alis ni Sano I mean halos at the same time lang siya nag-arrive with sina Kaoru. Well may backstory kaya ito sa kanyang training with Anji? Hope so! Anyhooo I am excited for the next movie! Hmm parang gusto ko basahin/panoorin buong kyoto arc ha but is it wise? lels
