  • Want to get that project done? Quit fucking procrastinating. If not now, when? Fuck that "novel you've been thinking about". Fuck your "idea for a product". Nobody gives a fuck about ideas. Either it's done or it isn't. Either you get it done or it stays and lives in your head forever. Fuck tomorrow. Today is all you fucking have, you lazy piece of shit.

  • Want to keep in touch with family better? Pick up your fucking phone and call them for 5 minutes. Tell them you love them. You or they could die before you're done reading this sentence.

  • Want to be a better lover? It takes goddamn work and sacrifice. If you feel like a shitty parent, or boyfriend, or wife, how about you quit feeling sorry about it, and change it. Quit being an asshole about it. Buy her flowers. Rub his back. Take your kids to the goddamn park.

  • Want to save money? Quit fucking buying shoes or games on Steam. Have some goddamn willpower. You control what you spend on. You will never regret saving money.

  • Want to get in shape? Put down your fucking McDonald's. Get off of your fat ass and go to the gym. Fuck, go for 3.5 minutes a day, just go. Do something, anything more than what you're currently doing. You will never regret working out. Ever. If you are overweight and aren't doing anything about it, don't embrace it and say you're happy being the "beautiful you". It's not about being beautiful. Fuck beautiful. It's about doing something for yourself.

  • You aren't good enough. You will never be good enough. What the fuck does that even mean? You hit the limit of how good you can be? Fuck. That. Start being a better you. You can always improve. Kick your own ass, because nobody gives enough of a shit to kick it for you.

  • Stop waiting for shit to happen. You put on a tie, strap on your best shoes, and fucking make it happen. If you don't, nobody will care but you. Those thoughts of regret will be the thoughts you die with. Doesn't matter how "proud" people are of what you have done, are you proud?

  • Make the best of every situation. You can't fucking control 98% of jack shit. But guess what? You control 100% of the shit that you can control. You and only you. If life put you in a shitty situation, realize that you can either accept it and push forward, or wallow in and sink. That decision lies within you, and waiting for things to get better is an excuse to settle and be lazy.

  • Quit being a pussy. Go out and get what you want. Want that raise? Ask for it, pussy. The worst that will happen is someone will tell you "no". Boo fucking hoo. But guess what? You might get a "yes". You will never receive anything if you don't ask for it.

  • The only person who really cares about every aspect of your life is you. So fucking be good and true to yourself. Don't put others before your happiness, because 99% of them wouldn't put you before theirs. You'll know the few that will.

  • Some people will never like or approve of you, no matter what you do. Fuck them. Don't waste one second of your one life worrying about those people.

  • Are you not happy with the way things are? Fucking change some shit. Or else it will stay the exact fucking same. If you can't change something, either accept it or work around it. Find a silver lining. I promise there are many in every situation.

  • You few fuckers who are actually reading this- guess what? In 100 years, you will be forgotten. Unless you write yourself into history, nobody will utter your name. The things you do here, now, matter to you and you alone. So make yourself happy. Do things to make yourself proud. Throw caution to the wind, because you have nothing to lose. Nothing at all.

Just finished reading How to live on 24 hours a day. Thoughts:

Yep, reflection. This is a must-do na dati ko pa talagang pinaplan gawin but I never do. Reflect on whatever you consume - the books you read, the articles, the movies, the TV show. Or else, it will be all for naught. 

Specialize on something. Eto pa isa. Develop a routine. AND KEEP TO IT.

Slow is better than nothing. Go slowly in doing something, the efforts will be evident in time. Problema ko talaga to eh, I don't even begin.

Nothing much about cultivating relationships here; well, meron naman yung spend time with friends part pero mas emphasis talaga nito ay personal skills development, so I just have to add na budget your time to include interacting with people you love. 

I really need to create that biking blog. 
Biked from house to the bridge using the Animal Trail aka lovers lane (bawat bench talaga may couple!), and then  back to Loyola Memorial, creating a loop. Biked around Loyola Memorial for a while, the birds were loud at this time (around 5pm.) Instead of passing by the route I usually bike towards home, I turned right on the street before chorillo, kept going straight instead of turning left, then found myself in a baseball field. On my 24 years of living here I never knew there was a field there, where some people are playing (ateneans, most prolly, based on their shirts). Beyond the field was a trail leading to the mountain and I so, so want to explore it but I'm scared of snakes and it's getting dark and how I wish I have someone to bike up that trail with! I left it for another day. 1 hour of biking did ease my dysmenorrhea (well, any exercise does that) and no matter how difficult it was to get up and condition yourself to go out (I was writhing in pain in the couch), I'm glad I did. God this entry has so many parenthetical clauses I suck as a writer.

Traipsed to Quiapo to have my crushed lens fixed. Mygad ang careless ko kasi, it's the second time it happened; first time, I surprisingly fixed it by myself by pulling on the lens, pero di ko na magawa ulit. Nubayan di na natuto. So I helped a man earn a living today hahaha. 500 yung fixing ng lens plus he offered to have it cleaned for another 100 so go naman ako. AND MY GOD WHY DIDN'T I HAD THAT DONE BEFORE??? Looking through the viewfinder again, kinilig ako sa clarity nung image and made me think, God, I really like photography. Huhu ang ganda. Bought a lens cap from him as well. It was around 6, the time when the sun has set already and the artificial lights on the streets are on, but the sky hasn't lost its blueness yet, so the fruits in the stalls look helluva pretty so I just had to buy some film. Found a 45-peso expired film and I thought it would have to do, PERO AMBOBO KO, when I looked at the display again, 12 EXPOSURES LANG PALA YUNG FILM #!$#safasdfq!@$# HUHU and it's too late; I have already bought and placed the film on camera. :(( Bobo k. Finished the roll immediately tuloy, I felt like I had cheated myself, I'm supposed to have thrice the number of exposures huhu tanggap ko pa sana kung 24 exposures but 12??! 12???!!!! who the hell still sells 12 exposures for 35mm film????????? UGH never na talaga ko papasok sa True Colors Hidalgo (haha as if kasalanan ng store no, tanga ko naman na hindi ko nacheck kung ilang exposures). The lady on the counter did tell me it was expired, sana pati the fact na 12 exposures lang siya sinabi niya na rin. Hmp. Haha bitter oh well NEXT TIME CHECK THE DAMN NUMBER OF EXPOSURES ON THE FILM YOU BUY.

Printed around 40 4r-sized pictures today. Photoline matte is way better than kodak's glossy. Worth the 1peso and 50cent difference. Mas sharp yung photos dun (baka ginawa talaga nilang 300 ppi ang resolution?). In any case, pati color maganda, may slight yellow tone yung pagkaprint compared dun sa kodak, which made the image subtly warmer which is all to my liking. pero mej delikads din if super warm na yung image in the first place. Pero yun nga, quite happy with the photoline prints, kodak meh. I really should have saved it in the correct resolution dang. 

Bought second hand s95 for underwater photog sana but then yung bibilhin ko dapat na housing ay hindi na niya binebenta. he decided to keep it. Great. So may camera ako with no housing still. Sadpandas.

Dropped off 15 films for processing, hahaha shet sana naman may winner dun.

bike log: bahay to sm masinag and back. that's around 12km in all. Saya pala pag sa Sumulong Highway yung daan ko, wala gaano vehicles 8pm onwards, and smooth road so nagmabilis ako. Record 30 minutes from home! Unlike kung dumaan ako sa marcos ave, may bike lane nga pero andaming ramps and people at masikip at nagccrowd sa malls. Scurry. Sarap din magbike ng gabi. Haay I lurrve my bike.

Biked from Ayala to home. Used EDSA but was on the sidewalk as much as possible. Result: two pimples and a damn long time to get home.

Bus honking should be made illegal. Nakakapanic okay. Yung super loud TOOT TOOT TOOT TOOT TOOT na parang may mamamatay na sa loob ng vehicle, that is so goddamn annoying. Seryoso gusto ko manapak ng bus driver. Assholes. And those honkers na right before mag green light at split second lang na hindi paggalaw, maghohonk na agad. God drivers, chill out. Pwede maghintay saglit? All those unnecessary noise makes me question anyone's sanity for living in Manila. Tapos yung fucking unnecessary panghi pa sa sidewalks. Mga lalaking umiihi kung saan saan, sana mabaog kayo at never makaexperience ng orgasm, you fucking assholes.

Isa pa, yung mga nagtatapon ng basura any any. Saw one kanina that carelessly threw away his/her cigarette on the sidewalk. Fucking asshole was climbing up the stairs to the mrt so hindi ko nakita kung sino talaga. Sana mahulog ka sa hagdan tapos tumama sa nape mo ang isang lit cigarette na nakakalat sa sidewalk tapos magkakaroon ka ng burn mark sa batok. Please, universe.

Passed by Ricoa while biking in EDSA, and omg the smell is heavenly. What a welcome respite from the damned air pollution. That was my favorite part of the ride.
